On Friday (June 11), the President of the Republic of Poland and the First Lady hosted children from all over Poland in the gardens of the Presidential Palace and the Belvedere Palace. It was an opportunity to recall and teach the youngest ones how to behave safely on the road, by the water and in the mountains. Children willingly participated in the activities and demonstrations organized by the security services. The stand with attractions in the form of games and fun activities in the field of road safety was also prepared by the Road Transport Inspection.
- Today you have an extremely valuable opportunity to listen to what the officers of the services, who professionally deal with providing security, have to say - said the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, at the beginning of the picnic.
- Today, apart from the fact that we want to share with you the most important rules of safe rest, you will also learn how to use the Internet safely - said the First Lady, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, paying attention to the threats also related to cybercrime.
The president, together with the First Lady, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, also visited the stand prepared by ITD. Games, fun activities and contests on road safety awaited the youngest ones there. Inspectors taught children the basic rules of moving on the roads by using a specially designed traffic town with traffic lights.
