Types of permits
Permits for cargo transportation:
We hereby inform you that in 2018 the following types of permits will be available for international road transport:
Bilateral permission (loco)
- entitles you to carry out the carriage (1 ride there and one back) between Poland and the country issuing the permit.
Transit permit
- entitles you to carry out the carriage (1 ride there and one back) through the territory of a given country. The permit does not give the right to be loaded and/or unloaded in the transit country, unless bilateral regulations provide otherwise.
General permit - gives the right to perform either two-way or transit transport.
Note: Belarusian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Montenegrin general licences may be used as a kr3 permit only in the case of a natural transit through the territory of Poland
Kr - 3 permit - gives the right to the final export or import of cargo from/to a country other than the country of registration of the vehicle.
None of the foreign permits issued by the International Transport Office entitle to carry out cabotage and oversized transport.

CARRIAGE OF CARGOS NOT REQUIRING ANY PERMITS
Under bilateral agreements, on the basis of reciprocity, no permits are required from traders who perform mtd for their own needs:

Bilateral and transit CARGO TRANSPORT does not require a permit if they are carried out:

Transport to/from a third country, also performed with a vehicle with a capacity of up to 3.5 t and a gross weight of up to 6 t, requires a special permit.
