For transportation carried out between the territories of EU Member States and the territory of Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein as well as for transport performed in transit through the territories of the above-mentioned countries, no permits are required.

COMMENTS:

  1. 1. The fulfilment of the condition of travel through the territory of Poland during transport to/from a third country means the passage with the shortest usual route of travel.

2. Transport between member countries of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) may take place on the basis of ECMT permits valid for these countries. The permit must be in the vehicle along the entire transport route (in the country of loading, in the transit countries and in the country of unloading) and must be valid throughout the entire transport route, e.g. ECMT permit used during transit through the territory of Serbia, in Italy-Greece transport must be valid both on the territory of Italy and Greece. In the case of using the ECMT permits, the fulfilment of the condition of transit through the territory of Poland is not required.
